Fall has definitely arrived, so it’s time to talk about the new trends in makeup we get to try this season. To help inspire you, we looked to the fall fashion runways for the hottest trends of the season. Whether you have an event coming up, or you’re just ready to try something new, Charles Ifergan can offer you a complete makeup application and help you find your new look. Here, we’ll highlight just a few of our favorites.

Red lips. From satin to metallic finishes, red lips have quickly become the it factor this season. This look was literal fire on all the runways this year, but if you’re nervous about going so bold, here’s a tip: pair warm reds with a warm undertone and cool-blue reds with a cool undertone. Keep your eyes on a more neutral plane for an overall polished look.

Simply flushed. Pink tones offered a new take on “fresh faced” beauty on the catwalks this season. To get the look, pair soft pink lips with a rosy cheek, and add a bit of the blush to your lids. This monochromatic palette will offer up a look of sweet innocence in no time!

Browns. From a smoky eye to matte lips, brown is the hot new not-so-neutral color in town. Reminiscent of the garage band feel of the 90’s, you really can’t go wrong with this fall tone.

Fancy eyes. Why buy expensive jewelry when you can wear diamonds (or pearls) on your eyes? Gems and other shiny accessories- especially on or around the eyes- were a big hit at the fall shows.
