As a student in our intensive Assistantship Training Program, you will learn the technical skills to build a successful career as a top Stylist or Colorist. Our curriculum is designed to help you master your craft and build a thriving business and long-term clientele. Learn from leading educators that are among the best in the industry, whose work has appeared in Vogue, Allure and red carpets throughout the country. Each week you will hone your craft under the expert guidance of this top team and practice on live models, provided by the salon. Over the course of your enrollment, you will learn critical communication skills that will allow you to marry your technique with the personal style of your clients — one of the cornerstones of the Charles Ifergan approach to hair.

Our merit-based salon fosters rapid advancement, with most students completing their program within 6 months to 1 year. If you are highly motivated and advanced, individuals can graduate in just 3 months, propelling you into your beauty career faster than traditional salon programs.
Ignite your career with a built-in clientele. During your Assistantship you will work with potential clients. Upon graduation, you’ll receive a guaranteed number of 380+ clients, setting you up for success and providing a solid foundation to build your own thriving clientele and loyal following.
We provide competitive pay and tips. Earn between $50,000 and $60,000 within two years as a Junior Stylist or Colorist. With starting pay and tips, you can expect to make $30 per hour at the start of your career. After that, the sky’s the limit!

Yes, a departmentalized salon affords you the opportunity to hone your craft while delivering exceptional results. Essentially, we believe in becoming an expert at your specific trade. This specialization ensures clients receive top notch services tailored to their needs. With experts dedicated to a field, clients can expect consistent high-quality services every visit, launching your success as a Stylist or Colorist.
In addition, being departmentalized fosters a strong sense of teamwork, where we support each other’s growth. By leveraging the collective strengths and expertise of our team, you can significantly grow your business with the help of others.
During the first month of your Assistantship, you will rotate between learning from both the Color and Cut departments. After gaining a better understanding of each, you will choose to specialize either as a Stylist or Colorist. Regardless of your choice, you will still receive an overview of the other department, as we work closely as a team.
Our program is a merit-based system, with a focus on fast advanced and training tailored to your unique learning needs. We understand everyone learns at a different pace, and you will be evaluated each month through feedback and evaluation sessions from our Educators. The quicker you master your skill set, the sooner you graduate.
Our team is dedicated to constantly researching and curating the best products and tools on the market to meet our client’s evolving needs. From vibrant color lines to cutting-edge treatments, extensions and more, we use only the top brands in the industry.
Some fan favorites we use are Oribe, Kerastase, R+Co, Goldwell, Redken, Brazilian Blowout, Bellami, Olivia Garden, K18, L’Oréal Professional and Olaplex.
Plus, through our retail education program, our product reps will provide education and product training ensuring you are knowledgeable and confident in recommending our products to clients.
