Worth The Hype Beauty Products With so many care and beauty gadgets being pushed out there, it’s hard to know what works, what doesn’t, and more so- what's worth trying and what’s not. The price tag on many of these can also seem daunting- making purchasing one an investment and if doesn’t work a big disappointment. We’ve done the research and tried out a bunch of products to give you an honest opinion on some we think may actually be worth it!
Lift and tone Microcurrent facials became popular a few years ago for the ability to target facial muscles to lift and tone. Nuface has brought that technology home with you, making it easy to use often to see more results due to the ability to use it more frequently. Between true before and after of friends, we’re buying the hype. Microcurrent is the real deal so if you’re looking to lift and tone your face, this device is for you!
Filtered for Better Hair and Skin We all know the sneaky dangerous stuff that may be tainting our water systems (microplastics, heavy metals, chlorine , etc) and many households may have hard water as well (easy to test with at home test kits you can purchase on amazon!) so if you’re worried about these things affecting your hair and skin, an easy swap out to a filtered water showerhead may be the perfect addition to your bathroom- just remember to switch out the filter at the recommended time.
Depuff and awaken Does your face feel puffy, swollen, and dull in the morning? An ice roller is an inexpensive, easy-to-get, instant-result option to calm swelling and brighten skin first thing in the morning.
Wrinkle Reduction and acne fighting Get ready to scare your family members with this one! A red light mask- many options on the market- is truly a game changer. Red light therapy is known to help the body heal and bring blood flow to the area, helping to create more collagen, smooth wrinkled, clear pimples/acne, and even skin tone. While a big investment, a red light mask is definitely worth the hype.
Humidity Especially important in the colder months, a humidifier can be your best kept beauty secret! Dry skin equals cracked and dull looking skin. We know the importance of hydration in the form of a moisturizer, but how about the air in our homes during winter months actively drying out our skin! Add a quality humidifier (like this one from Canopy that has a built in water filter), just be sure to be washing and drying parts frequently to avoid bacteria and mold growth!
