July 2023 Newsletter - Upgrade your hairstyle - Hair accessories are an on trend and easy way to upgrade your day to day, or day to night, hairstyle! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite finds to add to your wardrobe. Bows! Bows are making a comeback in hair accessories. We love the ones from Jennifer Behr who has multiple styles/sizes/materials. Use it to dress up any hairstyle for day or night! Upgrade your ponytail The easiest addition to a ponytail to seriously upgrade your look. We could not love this effortlessly cool accessory more! Add a headband Probably the easiest way to add a hair accessory is to add a headband to your look! Use a scarf! We are loving the look of a ponytail tied with a loose scarf. Daytime, or even poolside, this look adds a very fashionable edge. Scrunchie A bright scrunchie is so perfect to add a pop of color and an interesting accessory on those lazy ponytail days- it’s the easiest and fastest way to upgrade a quick pony! Upgrade your claw clip A dressy claw clip is a big win in our book! Simply twist up your next day hair and add a fancy clip and it will change your whole look! Men’s hair trends for 2023/2024 Men’s hair trends have been pretty steady the past few years with short sides and longer tops, but we’re finally seeing some deviation and some really fashionable new hairstyles on celebs and asked for in our chairs. Here are some we think are really interesting and worth a try! A modern mullet Hear us out, if you don’t love it, you cut the back off and it’s still a great tussled haircut! Why not give a try to a little length in the back like this very modern and handsome men's cut. Use products to bring out some natural texture to perfect this look. Long and swooped Longer length with a center or side part and swooped “bangs” is going to be huge in men’s haircuts. We love this look because it’s so different than the structured fades we have seen so much of in the past. Be sure to ask your stylist for lots of texture to get this look perfect. Bleached! If you’re really looking to change things up, we love the idea of a full bleach out! If you dare to dive into the VERY blond side, be sure to ask your stylist to recommend a purple shampoo to keep your hair from getting too yellow, being careful in chlorine, and use products to add moisture into your strands!
