April 2024 Newsletter - Spring/Summer Hair Trends. Warm weather is (hopefully) around the corner which means it will feel OFFICIALLY like springtime in Chicago. Strands Out - As the 90’s continues to be on trend, so come the hair trends. Leaving a single strand out of an updo is sure to be on trend this spring and summer. Taupe-y Tresses - Taupe colored brown/blondes will be the most on trend color this spring and summer, we love this shiny in between color for all skin tones! Deep Side Parts - Center parts are still trendy, but we’re seeing a shift to a deep side part this coming this season as well. We love this as a way to switch up your ‘do. Micro Bob - A short, chin length or shorter, bob is making headlines on red carpets and celebrities. We love this trend, and already see it trickling down into client requests. What a way to refresh your hair this Spring/Summer! Soft Red - This not too bright, not too red, not to orange subtle ginger is a beautiful way to dip your toe into “red” hair this Spring and summer. Bouncy Blowout - Volume is So in. The bouncy, round brush blowout is the new loose waves- which have taken a very obvious back seat on red carpets, celebrities, and runways this season so far! Hair Fun Facts - The amount of weight an entire head of hair can support is equivalent to 2 elephants, or 2 TONS! Damaged hair after spring break? Swimmers Wellness Remedy - $25 in-salon treatment. Removes chlorine, copper, and other pool, ocean or spa water to reveal shinier, healthier, more vibrant hair.
