Thank you for trusting us with your perm! Proper aftercare is essential to keep your curls looking healthy, defined, and long-lasting.
• Do NOT wash your hair
• Do NOT get your hair wet (rain, sweat, swimming)
• Do NOT tie, clip, or tuck your hair
• Avoid hats or anything that may create dents
This allows the perm to fully set.
• Wait at least 48 hours before your first wash
• Use sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo
• Always follow with a hydrating conditioner
• Wash hair 2–3 times per week (not daily)
• Gently pat dry with a microfiber towel or cotton T-shirt
• Avoid rough towel drying (causes frizz)
• Air drying is best, or use a diffuser on low heat
• Use curl-enhancing products (mousse, curl cream, or gel)
• Apply products while hair is damp, not dry
• Avoid heavy oils or products that weigh curls down
• Do not brush dry hair—use a wide-tooth comb on wet hair only
• Limit heat styling (flat irons, curling irons)
• If using heat, always apply a heat protectant
• Excess heat can loosen your perm
• Use a silk or satin pillowcase OR wrap hair in a silk scarf
• You can loosely tie hair in a pineapple (high, loose ponytail)
• Deep condition once a week
• Trim ends every 6–8 weeks
• Avoid chemical services (color, relaxers) for at least 2 weeks
• Wet hair with clean water before entering pool/ocean
• Apply leave-in conditioner for protection
• Rinse hair immediately after swimming
• Curls may relax slightly after the first few washes—this is normal
• Proper care will help maintain your curl pattern and shine
