Favorite place in Chicago and why? 

Michigan Avenue on the North, sometimes called The Magnificent Mile, is always wonderful to explore. Many top stores and wonderful restaurants. It’s also great to people watch!

Why do you love being a stylist?

I’ve always loved fashion, art, and creativity. When I think about what I do as a hairstylist, my favorite opportunity is to create beautiful hair transformations that allow a person’s inner beauty to shine through.

Who is your style icon? 

I am a huge fan of Sarah Jessica Parker’s style both as herself and as Carrie Bradshaw. I actually think since playing the role of Carrie Bradshaw, SJP has adopted that style into her everyday life and it’s fantastic. Her style is quirky, crazy, high-fashion, and it totally says, ‘I am dressing for myself and no one else.’ Gotta love that.
