You can shampoo, workout, put it in a ponytail, etc right after your service.
We strongly recommend only using clean, gentle sulfate-free shampoos. We recommend Brazilian Blowout Acai Anti-Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner. Many shampoos are full of chemicals that can destroy the effects of your Brazilian Blowout formula.
Don’t over-shampoo. In fact, we advise only washing your hair up to three times weekly. That routine will help keep your treatment working like it’s supposed to.Â
Timing is everything when you want to color your hair and get a Brazilian Blowout. Before the treatment is the best time to tint and have the blowout formula seal in your color.
If you prefer to color post-Brazilian treatment, then you need to wait 2 weeks or more.Â
Salt and chlorinated water could ruin your Brazilian blowout.Â
Saltwater pulls moisture out of hair. It also increases the risk of breakage, especially after a chemical treatment.Â
Chlorinated water is also damaging. It eliminates the treatment adhered to your strands.
If you plan to swim, apply Brazilian Blowout Daily Smoothing Serum on the hair prior to swimming acts as a protective barrier. The serum also provides UVA/UVB protection and helps preserve your hair color. After exposure, rinse your hair with clean water and then reapply the Brazilian Blowout Daily Smoothing Serum.
It’s good to spend extra time twice a month deep conditioning your hair. Use Brazilian Blowout Deep Conditioning Masque to rejuvenate your strands by adding essential amino acids and moisture and keeping the dreaded frizz away.
To keep your hair looking shiny, smooth and healthy, spray on Brazilian Blowout Ionic Bonding Spray which seals the cuticle and extends the treatment’s effects.
To avoid unnecessary friction to the hair, sleep on a silk pillowcase.
